There are many reasons why some people love floating vacations, aka cruises. Princess Cruises certainly knows how to entertain its guests, and they’ve just taken another step toward doing an even better job of it.

They’re launching the Princess Casino on board the Sun Princess in February 2024. The new casino is going to be 50% bigger than the casinos you’ll find on their Royal Class ships. You can also expect 30% more machines to play on.

Launching next to the Piazza area of the ship

The eighth deck will be ready to welcome players who board the ship from February 2024. Early photos suggest a spacious and well-appointed casino, featuring plenty of tables, slot machines, and a roulette wheel. There are lifts close by too, bringing you to the casino from every part of the ship.

Pull up a seat and see how you fare when playing one of the best and most famous slots around. The Sun Princess will have over 200 machines ready to entertain, including some of the best video poker games if you don’t have the poker face to use a table.

There will be a high-limit area reserved for slots too if you are keen to bet more on some of the machines. You can expect linked progressive jackpots covering the poker tables and blackjack tables, with a chance to win a memorable prize.

The Sun Princess launches in February 2024

Yes, it’s not just the casino that marks a new addition to this ship – the whole thing embarks on its maiden voyage next year. With 2,150 guest cabins and a guest capacity of 4,300, there will be plenty to explore once on board.

The casino is just the latest in features to be added to the ship. There will be multiple food and drink venues in the Piazza, and of course, the nearby casino to tempt you if you want to see what’s happening.
